Samsung GALAXY Ace S5830 is all set to be launched worldwide from Samsung, this phone is expected to come under mid level price range for a smart phone. coming to the built and looks, this mobile from the outside looks similar to iphone 4 but not exactly but definitely has some inspiration from iphone 4 design, most part of the mobile is made of plastic and has a beautiful looking 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen display with 320×480 pixels resolution with decent viewing angles as you can see in the video below, display supports accelerometer and multi touch which should be really useful while browsing the web or viewing pictures. Runs on Android 2.2 version and we are not yet unsure whether they will provide an upgrade to 2.3 version and touch screen on this device is really smooth and very much usable, although browsing shows a bit of lag but that’s not much thanks to its powerful 800mhz processor. It has 5MP camera which can take decent quality pictures and camera comes with many interesting features like Auto focus, Smile detection, White balance, Multi shot, Effects, Panorama. Camera can record videos in 3GP format which should be good for viewing from the mobile itself and not really usable with your PC or on high resolution display screens. From the multimedia side this mobile has a music player supporting MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ format files and video player supporting MPEG4, H.263, H.264 file formats, does have a FM radio and youtube player app pre installed in the device. From the connectivity side it supports 3G, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, GPS, micro USB and supports HTML browsing. It has a built in memory of 158MB but can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of microSD/SDHC memory cards. Comes with a great battery life supporting up to 11 hours of talk time and 640 hours of standby time.
